This is an ongoing project of mine. This is a site of the ramblings of an insomniac.
I wanted to have my own website. This site include both the professional and personal sides to me. I am also not above giving shamless plugs to the projects I work with as well as my Friends and Family and their websites.
Who Am I?
My name is Rachel, I attended Loyola University Chicago where I earned a Bachlors of Arts – Fine Arts – Emphasis in Photography with a Minor in Philosophy. I also took quite a few classes in Graphic Arts, and Visual Comminications. Where my classes included Color Theory, Design 1, Visual Communications 1, Digital Imaging, Color Photography, Basic and Advanced Black and White Photography and Dark Room Procedures, as well as a variety of other classes. The reason that I chose to attend Loyola U. Chicago rather then a more traditional art school is that Loyola is a Jesuit School where the focus is values in Education. Which included a variety of core requirements for all students in a variety of areas, in addition to the area of study.
I currently work as the Manager of Tech Support at one of the Chicago Main Museums. I not only oversee the Desktop computers (MAC and PC) but also the telecommunications (land lines and celular). As a result of that, I spend a lot of time focused on the telecom side of the computer world.
What other projects am I involved in?
Not currently involved in any sort of projects (well other then work related).
Although with all my “little monsters” they really are a project of their own with all the upkeep that goes with them.
